You have two main kinds of enemies in this life: The foe; and the avenger.

#1. The foe

These are people that hate and come against you for no fault of yours. You’ve not done anything against them. Maybe they’re jealous of you and intimidated by your success, like Joseph’s brothers. Maybe they have been instigated by others against you. But whatever the reason, you’ve done nothing to warrant their hatred and enmity. They belong to the first kind of enemies: your foes.

#2. The avenger

These ones hate and come against you, and rightly so, because you’ve done something wrong against them. Maybe you attacked them. Maybe you broke the rules. Maybe you even sinned. Whatever the reasons, you have actually done something to deserve their hatred and attack. They have a legitimate case against you. They belong to the second kind of enemies: your avengers.

Right now, you maybe under attack from one or both of these two kinds of enemies. You’re terrified that they’re going to disgrace you and take you down. You may even be in a state of panic. And you’re probably trying to defend yourself.

Well, don’t be silly! You shouldn’t defend yourself. Let the Lord Himself fight for you. Commit the battle to Him. Your battles belong to Him, not to you. Your defense of yourself is pathetic compared to what He can do in your defense.

He has promised to silence both kinds of enemies in your life; the foes and the avengers alike.

And He has given you the power to provoke that: Praise!

Yes, God Himself established praise as a weapon, in order to silence both your foes and avengers. He set praise up to give you mysterious victories; to bless and favour you when others expect you to be disgraced and destroyed.

Receive this message today. Ignore your foes and avengers. Focus on God Himself alone. Praise Him today with your mind, with your mouth, and with all your resources. You will surely see an unprecedented manifestation of God’s victories in your life in the days ahead of you.
