ISAIAH 61:7 ESV | “INSTEAD OF YOUR SHAME THERE SHALL BE A DOUBLE PORTION; INSTEAD OF DISHONOUR THEY SHALL REJOICE IN THEIR LOT; THEREFORE IN THEIR LAND THEY SHALL POSSESS A DOUBLE PORTION; THEY SHALL HAVE EVERLASTING JOY.”

There are two groups of mockers that make fun at the expense of God’s people. The first group is the open mockers. They laugh directly in your face when you’re passing through hardships because of your consecration and walk with God.

The second group is the secret mockers. They see you and call you brother or sister. But once you’re out of sight, they laugh and say, ‘What folly is this? Why should she depend on the Holy Spirit for everything and not help herself?

Now, hear the word of the Lord concerning the matter. Your mockers are silenced. I have put your mockers out of business. There will be nothing left in your life for anyone to mock. Instead, complete shock at the display of God’s goodness, mercy and might in your life will replace the mockery. It is done, says the Lord. Bliss be with you.
