“Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: ‘I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God and they will be my people.’ ‘Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing and I will receive you.’ ‘I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.’”
~2 Corinthians 6:14-18
God says that as His child, you should come out, and be separate from the world. You must guard against worldliness.
When the Prophet Balaam looked in the spirit at the children of Israel, he said:
“From the rocky peaks I see them, from the heights I view them. I see a people who live apart, and do not consider themselves one of the nations.”
~Numbers 23:9
As God’s child, you should live apart for goodness sake. Worldliness dilutes your potency. You are not one of the people; you are different. When you come out and become separate, you release God to become God in your life. You don’t need all these mingling with the world. You don’t need it! I have heard some folks say you have to go out, so you can be seen; so you can get married. God help you.
Your distinction is in your distinction. If you want to be distinguished, if you want to have experiences that are not common, then stop being common. When you live a common ordinary life, and you’re just like every Dick and Harry in the block, where then is your distinction? God will not be free to be God in your life, if you have worldliness.
May God have mercy upon us all, in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Heavenly Father, help me to maintain my distinction, so that You can be free to be God in my life, in Jesus’ name.
