A battle is raging right now for your heart; for your affections; for your attention. This battle is not between the Lord and Satan. And it’s not between the Lord and the world.
This battle is between the Lord and your problems.
And you get to choose who will win.
You decide who to give the victory.
The Lord wants your attention and focus.
Your problems want them too.
So, who is going to win?
Will you give the victory to the Lord?
Or will you give the victory to your problems?
Who will ultimately prevail in this battle for your focus, for your energies, for your attention?
As for me, my choice is clear: I refuse to give my energies to my problems. I refuse to give my focus and attention to my issues.
A million times No.
I’ll rather give all my attention and focus to the Lord. This is what it means to up your game. This is what it means to go from crumbs to the Lord’s Table. This is what it means to rejoice in the Lord and to delight in Him.
Habakkuk 3:17-18 NLT
[17]Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, [18] yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
No matter what, I will rejoice in the Lord!
What about you?
