Judges 16:21-22 MSG | “The Philistines captured him, gouged out his eyes, and took him down to Gaza. They shackled him in irons and put him to the work of grinding in the prison. BUT HIS HAIR, THOUGH CUT OFF, BEGAN TO GROW AGAIN.”
Aside the hindsight that you have today on Samson’s story, have you ever wondered why he gave in to Delilah, even after having proven three good times, that she was bent on destroying the secret of his strength? She made him loose his sight, and he eventually died with his enemies, not withstanding that he was said to have killed more people in his death than in his life time. Was Samson blinded by the covering of love, or was it just his goofiness that brought about his downfall?
Failure is a reality of life. Everyone experiences it at each point in time. Sometimes, it’s caused by either one’s own folly or mistake, others, or the enemy himself. But it is not the end of life. It is not your destiny. Your mistakes and wrongdoings will not stop you. The mercy and the grace of God will lift you. It is your bounce back season.
Hebrews 8:12 | “For I will be merciful to their wrongdoing, and I will never again remember their sins.”
God says to announce to you that regardless of the cause of your misfortune, you will rise again. Your hair, though cut, will start to grow again. He is set to bring about a restoration of all that you have lost. There will be a convergence. Things will start to add up and come together for you once more, because you are connected back to the source of your life – the Holy Spirit. Your source of strength, power, wisdom, creativity and glory, is unclogged, and as a result:
You will bounce back! Your anointing is growing again. Your fire for God is being rekindled. Your passion and awareness of His presence is growing again. Your hunger for deeper intimacy is being intensified. His talents and gifts deposited within you for His glory are starting to bloom again. Your once lucrative business and career is starting to boom again. Lost years and opportunities are being restored in untold ways. Failing health conditions are being revived. Handwritings and tongues against you are being reversed.
You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; so you will rise again, and you will bounce back! Hallelujah!
Proverbs 24:16 NIV | “Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.”
