‭‭2 KINGS‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭NIV | ““YOU HAVE ASKED A DIFFICULT THING,” ELIJAH SAID, “YET IF YOU SEE ME WHEN I AM TAKEN FROM YOU, IT WILL BE YOURS—OTHERWISE, IT WILL NOT.””

The only way Elisha could receive a double portion of Elijah’s anointing was to see his body leaving this time and space. The Bible says that for the joy set before Jesus, He endured the Cross.

The main reason there is difficulty subduing your soul and body to your spirit is the lack of spiritual sight and perspective by your soul into what is going on. If your soul SEES what your spirit knows, it will be way much easier.

Job was tempted and only exclaimed towards the end of the trial, “I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes.” (Job‬ ‭42:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬) In contrast, Jesus said of Abraham, He saw my day and rejoiced. (John 8:56 NLT) This awareness enabled Abraham willingly sacrifice Isaac. Today, I declare that not only will your soul see what your spirit knows, your body will also cooperate so you can fulfill destiny. Bliss be with you.
