God has given you His great and precious promises; and His word is true. God’s word is sure; it never fails.
“…so is my word that goes out of my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”
~ Isaiah 55:11
“For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”
~Psalm 119:89
“I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.”
~Matthew 5:18
However, between the time that God makes you a promise, and the time that this promise becomes a reality in your life, you’re going to face adversities. Trials, tough times, and challenges are sandwiched on the path between you and your glory land.
And even at this moment, the visible circumstances of your life might not be in alignment with God’s word. Maybe you compare what God has told you — the visions and dreams that God put in your heart — with your physical environment, and they seem contradictory. It doesn’t look like things are moving in the direction that God has promised you. This discrepancy can set up tension; it can create pain.
The bible tells us that:
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.”
~Proverbs 13:12
During that period – when there is a conflict between what God has said to us in His word, and what is happening in our circumstances – many people faint. It is at this critical point, that many folks begin to grumble; they begin to panic; they begin to murmur; and then they backslide. They abandon the project; they give up their dreams.
Yet, what you need at that moment is endurance. You need to persevere, so that you can get through the tough seasons successfully, and realize God’s word for your life and destiny.
Memory Verse:
Acts 14:22
“…so is my word that goes out of my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”Prayer:
Father, I thank you for the great and precious promises that you have given me. Help me Father to persevere during the tough seasons of adversity, in Jesus’ name.
Amen
