One of the blessings I have enjoyed as a Christian is that I was raised in a strong and godly home. My biological family has been one of the best things that ever happened to me. From my heart, I pray that you will have this same blessing.
My biological father has been such a huge blessing to me. Most of the principles I teach on building a strong and godly family came from him. He covered these grounds for me, so I don’t have to worry about my family. Part of the reason I can focus on my ministry is because I come from a godly family that does not bring ungodly distractions to me.
You have to pray for your family to get to where you are spiritually. You have to pray that the same Spirit working in you will work in them. Spend quality time in your morning devotion to pray for your family. Pray for their spiritual life; and also pray for God’s blessings on them.
I can live a life of contentment because I don’t have so much demand from my extended family; that helps me a lot. You should ask God to bless your family. You should ask God to protect their going in and coming out. You must ask God to bless your family every single day of your life! The importance of this prayer can not be overemphasized. Always, pray for your parents, your siblings, extended family, and all those who are connected to you biologically.
Memory Verse:
Acts 16: 31
“They replied, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved –you and your household.’”Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for my family. Lord, I ask that you bless them abundantly. May they experience your divine provisions, protection, and help in every facet of their lives, in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
