The god from a lump of clay is the testimony of man: The Father took dust from the ground and got not just a living soul but a life-giving spirit; and a god.
Though the lump of clay in your hand is teeming with imperfections, you can get a god out of it.
“The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”
~Genesis 2:7
“So it is written: ‘The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.”
~1 Corinthians 15:45
“I said, ‘You are ‘gods’; you are all sons of the Most High.”
~Psalm 82:6
I speak to you today, by the Spirit of God: Not only can you get a glass cup or a bowl from that lump of clay – those are too obvious — there’s also a living soul in that clay for you. There is also a life-giving spirit in that lump. There’s actually a god in that apparently imperfect lump clay.
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works ; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
~Psalm 139:14(KJV)
You are fearfully and wonderfully made; but the Father took you from the dust of the ground!
So start thanking God for every lump of clay in your life right now.
Thank God for the people that you have in your ministry; they are the best.
The folks in your business are the best.
You are the best.
The members of your family are the best.
Your business is the best.
Your career is the best.
God has given you the best; thank him for what He has given to you.
Thank Him for the lump of clay.
Memory Verse:
Psalm 139:14(KJV)
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works ; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Prayer:
O Lord, thank You for giving me the best. Thank you that I am surrounded by the best. I choose not to focus on any imperfection I see, but like You did with man, I will get a god out of my lump of clay, in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
