For a very long time I was bound up in others opinions of me. I also always wanted everyone to be happy with me. This left me extremely unhappy, stressed, worried and anxious very often. 

I would like to write to you today about how Holy Spirit has helped me tremendously with that issue. You may be able to connect with this and get some relief from this burden today, by the power of the Spirit.

Here are a few things I’ve learned along this journey to personal freedom: 

1.) It is not your responsibility to make people happy. Only God can do that and it’s not an easy job for Him. 

Psalm‬ ‭144:15‬ ‭AMPC‬‬| “Happy and blessed are the people who are in such a case; yes, happy (blessed, fortunate, prosperous, to be envied) are the people whose God is the Lord!”

‭‭2.) You can not please both God and man. If you worry about pleasing people then you will many times not be able to do what God wants you to do. Then you will run the chance of grieving the Holy Spirit, which is not acceptable.

Galatians 1:10| “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

3.) Stop seeking validation from others. Validation breeds dysfunction . You are accepted by Him, so to hell with everyone’s opinion of you anyway. He is the highest authority in the Universe. If He accepts you then you are just fine. Take time to bathe in this verse:

Ephesians 1:6| “to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.”

4.) Most people are just jealous or void of understanding anyway. So that’s their problem not yours. Don’t allow them, their attitudes or opinions hold you back any longer. Keep moving forward. 

Nahum‬ ‭1:13‬ ‭NIV‬‬| “Now I will break their yoke from your neck and tear your shackles away.””

TODAY Blissful is the day this burden of others opinions is broken off your life. Holy Spirit has released an anointing to break their yoke (their opinions, plans, judgments, etc.) from your neck and tear away your shackles! Receive that now and give God the highest praise! You are free to live blissfully.
