“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…”

I’ve spent some time talking with the Lord in the matter of saving souls. I feel very strongly He has shown me that His plan wasn’t to make converts to Christianity but to make disciples.

What does it really mean to “save” a soul?
I believe it’s more than what we’ve been told.
Sitting around pondering,
Really had me wondering…

I think it’s more than a prayer you have them pray,
It’s more about their day to day.
Winning them over completely to the Lord.
Mind, will and emotions, it’s really kinda hard.

It’s not impossible,
It’s definitely doable.
It’s really making disciples,
One on one not just reading a prayer from the Bible.

Are you willing to get your hands dirty?
It make take more than a chat session—minutes, 30.
More like many years,
Walking with them though their fears.

Are you willing to love them unconditionally?
Or as soon as you see the devil in them you are ready to flee?
Saving a soul looks like devotion,
Not just going through the motions.
