The Holy Spirit wants to help you. He wants to solve all your problems and meet all your needs. It gives Him tremendous pleasure to do so.

I know this for sure. I’m absolutely convinced it’s true. Because He said that to me.

So, I encourage you to always be sincere and honest in telling Him about your needs. Don’t be shy. Don’t be timid. Don’t be pretentious. Don’t be pseudo-spiritual.

Just tell Him exactly what you want. Whether you have faith or not isn’t really as important as you being honest and sincere about what you want.

He told me that He never finds any fault with any prayer requests; no matter what it is. As long as it will make you happy and improve the quality of your existence, He is all for it.
