ROMANS 8:28 NLT | “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them”

This verse is not talking about everybody. It is referring to a specific group of people: Those who love God and are called according to His purpose.

Do you love God?
No, seriously.
Do you love God?

Or do you just love the goodies that come from Him?

If you truly love God with all your heart, then don’t be discouraged when you go through things that don’t seem to make sense. God promises to work all things together for good for those who love Him.

That disappointment is not the end. Those difficulties and challenges are merely stepping stones toward greater intimacy with Him—He is simply drawing you closer.

Don’t get discouraged. And don’t get distracted. Keep seeking to know Him better. Very soon it will all make sense.
