Good morning Blissful People!

As you already know, during the just concluded fast, the Holy Spirit told us to Up our game. Now, let’s look at two specific areas He pointed out during the fast.

#1. What to celebrate

Up your game with regards to what you celebrate.

Luke 10:17-20 NIV
[17] The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” [18] He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. [19] I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. [20] However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

#2. What to run after

Matthew 6:31-33 NIV
[31] So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ [32] For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. [33] But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Blissful People are not pagans. We are lovers and followers of the Holy Spirit. So we will not run after earthly things. Instead, we will be led by the Holy Spirit.

Furthermore, God already knows what we need. So, our worshipping and fasting must no longer be for job promotion, or financial breakthroughs or anything material.

Instead let it always be used to seek to receive clear understanding of God’s mind for your life, for your family, for His people and for His nation.
