Luke 16:11| “And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?”

In my life I have been mocked at for following God the way that I do. At one point the Lord told me to make myself fully available to Him. I understood He wanted me to quit my regular job. It was very terrifying actually. I realized then that I didn’t have as much faith and trust in God as I thought I did. 

I struggled for a while to completely trust Him to provide for me. And I also had people make comments that I was a fool. But I tested and proved it was God and I heard Him so I stepped out and kept moving. I began to see Him in ways I had only heard about in the Bible and in others lives. It was truly amazing. 

My eyes were opened to my dependence on money. I had no idea how much money controlled me and the decisions I made. I’ve had people make comments that God wasn’t going to rain down money for me. But you know He did even better than that. I made a choice to listen and obey Him. In that way you gain true riches. The riches that I gained was trust and faith. At one point He told me that I don’t need money to live that I need faith. So I learned that faith will produce what you need in that moment and in that moment I didn’t need money I needed trust. Today, ask Holy Spirit to show you the true riches of this life. May your eyes be open and your ears attentive to Him as He shows you. Bliss💞
