“…and you will be my witnesses…”

~ Acts 1:8

becky_odumara1 Phenomenal results are your best arguments

Every argument bows to the superiority of results.

Nothing beats a good and solidly obvious result.

Jesus Christ Himself pointed out this fact.

“”Unless you people see miraculous signs and wonders”, Jesus told him, “you will never believe”.” (John 4:48).

Except they SEE signs and wonders (visible and powerful results that demonstrate your point) they won’t believe.

“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,” (1 Corinthians 2:4).

“because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake.” (1 Thessalonians 1:5).

It is better to DEMONSTRATE your case, than to merely argue it.

Relevant gifts are the best results

Only fools argue with results. Wise men quietly ponder the results and usually alter their mindsets accordingly, which is key to their continuous metamorphosis.

So, go for results. This is imperative if you must be an effective witness for Jesus Christ.

“In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16).

Stop arguing and start demonstrating.

“All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him.” (Proverbs 19:7).

Stop chasing people with empty words, and start attracting them with phenomenal results.

The best results are usually relevant gifts that people can’t resist.

“Many curry favor with a ruler, and everyone is the friend of a man who gives gifts.” (Proverbs 19:6).

God did not call us to argue.  He called us to SHOW FORTH His glory. He called us to shine for Jesus!

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” (1 Peter 2:9).

Legends have no time for empty words; they are busy making history.

It is time for God’s children to begin to shine for Jesus in every aspect of our lives.

Fellowship with God for the power to shine

The power to shine has been given to us in the person of the Holy Spirit.

“I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high”. (Luke 24:49).

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth”. (Acts 1:8).

So you must yield to Him, and fellowship with Him to harness and appropriate this power.
