The other day in prayer I was taken by the Spirit into a vision where I saw a fleet of sail boats sailing away into the horizon on the vast deep blue mysterious ocean. The boats were so majestic with their pure white sails wide open and full of the mighty wind pushing them onward to their destination. Then I heard a thundering voice of the Spirit booming inside me saying “let go and set sail”. Then again, “stretch forth your curtains and don’t hold back!”

Isaiah 54:2| ““Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.”

The above scripture came to me and I knew the Holy Spirit was telling us to let go of the things that are holding us back. The things that hold us back from moving with the Spirit are not always “bad” things. But nonetheless it is keeping you from moving forward. 

Today, ask the Spirit to help you to let go and sail away with Him. Ask Him to give you the strength to stretch your curtains in full surrender and not hold anything back.
