The World Has A Diluting Effect On You

As God’s child, your power is in your distinction. The secret of your strength is in your separation from the world. The bedrock of your dominion is in your distinction. When you connect with the world you get weaker. Worldliness diminishes your power as a Christian. You become like wine that has been diluted with water; you lose your potency. The world has a diluting effect on you. So when you connect with the world, you always end up weakening yourself.

The reason why so many Christians are weak and defeated is because they have fellowship with the world. If you want to walk in distinction, if you want to walk in dominion, if you want to walk in power, you must preserve your separateness. It’s very important that you maintain your distinction. A lot of the times, worldly influence and paradigms are very subtle. Always be at your guard against worldliness.

The children of Israel broke this principle, and they were roundly defeated by the Midianites. The Midianites sought their destruction, and lured them to follow their own gods, thereby sinning against God. God in turn destroyed them.

“They were the ones who followed Balaam’s advice and were the means of turning the Israelites away from the Lord in what happened at Peor, so that a plague struck the Lord’s people.”
~Numbers 31:16

As God’s child, your power is in your separation from the world. If you want to walk in dominion, you must guard against worldliness.

Memory Verse:
Numbers 23:9
“From the rocky peaks I see them, from the heights I view them. I see a people who live apart, and do not consider themselves one of the nations.”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for making me distinct from the world. Deliver me, O Lord, from every worldly influence. Help me, Father, to walk in my separateness, and thus in dominion, in Jesus’ mighty name.
Amen.
