In my journey so far I’ve made a few discoveries that I’m thankful to have the opportunity to share here on ‘Rule Your Day’. Today I want to share something that I would call the “Purpose of the Church”. 

When I was newly born again I was taught that the purpose of the church is to tell people about Jesus and get people to pray a prayer of salvation. So I wanted to be a good Christian and I began to do that. But I knew something wasn’t right. Something was missing. In recent times through our Renewal meetings Holy Spirit made it very clear to me that the purpose of the church is to manifest Jesus in each believer. 

I then looked over the years in the church history and where it is today and I have a question; “where is all the Jesus’?’” We have seen a few here and there over the years that have broke out of their humanity and began to bring the kingdom into this time and space but not as many as it could be. And I’m not ok with that, first and foremost in my life. What about you? Are you satisfied with a normal human life? Or do you too share this yearning to breakout of your humanity and break into new realities as a son/daughter of God? Bliss is in you.
