John 12:24 MSG | “Listen carefully: Unless a grain of wheat is buried in the ground, dead to the world, it is never any more than a grain of wheat. But if it is buried, it sprouts and reproduces itself many times over.”
Verse 25 continues. “In the same way, anyone who holds on to life just as it is, destroys that life. But if you let it go, reckless in your love, you’ll have it forever, real and eternal.” These two verses reveal what the price for life is. Death. The death of self. Our current life is a temporary one that’s meant to be sown in exchange for the eternal life that we can have.
There’s a new move of God. But He can only work and walk with His dead saints. They are precious in His sight. He’s seeking His children who have lost touch of their ambitions and desires, and have given up all for him. He’s seeking those who have made His desire their obsession, and His pleasure their treasure.
May the Holy Spirit circumcise your heart today, and empower you to pay the price for life.
