“To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless, to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd.”
~Psalm 18:25
According to God’s word, He is faithful to the faithful. The truth is that if you’re faithful in tithing to God, He will show Himself faithful to you. Folks who are continually faithful to God rejoice in the faithfulness of God. For crying out loud, why wouldn’t God be faithful?
A long time ago, I heard a man of God say you can never beat God in the game of faithfulness. That statement went right through my heart; it resonated with me. It is true; you can never beat God in the contest of faithfulness. God is faithful! The problem with our lives is never with God. He says, “If you are faithful, I will show myself faithful.”
“A man’s own folly ruins his life, yet his heart rages against the Lord.”
~ Proverbs 19:3
Folks are in the habit of blaming God for their own unfaithfulness. God says clearly in His word that if you’re faithful, He will be faithful to you. At this season, I want to encourage you, to instruct you, but also to command you to be faithful to God in your tithing. If you do this, you will find yourself each day rejoicing in the faithfulness of God.
