A few years back I was going through a very difficult time in my life. I was at a crossroad and I didn’t know which way to go. Frankly I was terrified I would make the wrong choice and mess up my destiny. I literally felt paralyzed with fear.

I thank God for the Holy Spirit. Jesus said that He would guide us into all the truth. And that has been my case. He has continued to lead and guide me where I need to be. Glory be to God! 

John 16:13| “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

As I began to fellowship with Him about this fear and ask Him for help there were a few things that He spoke to me. These words became a guiding light to me. They became a source of strength. Even to this day, they are a mantra or motto that I live by. Today I will share them with you. 

Psalm 37:23| “The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.”

I found tremendous comfort knowing that the Lord Himself directs my steps. I didn’t want it any other way. So I clung to this for dear life. You see, I’ve decided a long time ago I only want what He wants for me. I believe that is why He directs my steps. 

There is another saying that the Spirit gave to me. It is this: 

I’ll always be in the right place, at the right time, with the right people, doing the right thing, getting the right results! 

As I continued to declare these words over my life by the Holy Spirit He made my path straight and led me in the right direction. It’s honestly not the direction I would have chosen at that time. So I know He supernaturally led me through the murky water of transition. 

Blissful, be encouraged today, God see’s where you are and where you are going. Surrender all to Him today. Let His Spirit guide you. Your path will only get brighter and brighter!
