The Kingdom of God series. So far, we’ve covered the following grounds:

Part 3. The Kingdom of God: Need For Patience.
Part 4. The Kingdom of God: The Mustard Seed.
Your life is a gift from God. Including your time, energy, opportunities; you name it. They are gifts from God.
And it matters a lot how you use them; what you do with them.
It matters, because, according to how the Maker of existence designed things to run, the rich get richer and the poor gets poorer.
That might shock you. But it’s the way the Maker has done things. Jesus Himself pointed it out in the parable of the talents. Remember that Jesus told this parable to show how the kingdom of God works. In other words, how God does things;
Luke 19:24-25
24 “Then he said to those standing by, ‘Take his mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.’ 25 “‘Sir,’ they said, ‘he already has ten!’ 26 “He replied, ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what they have will be taken away.
Did you notice how the other’s protested? “Sir,” they said, “he already has ten!”
They had failed to take note of how things really worked in nature; how the Maker does things. Well, Jesus pointed it out to them. And to us:
He replied, “I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what they have will be taken away.”
God has designed things in such a way that those who make wise choices with the various resources, opportunities and gifts of God, get more.
I really pray that the Holy Spirit will help each of us to improve the quality of our choices and decisions in life. May He help us make wise choices with the various resources, opportunities and gifts of God. May He help us not to waste even a crumb of our breads. In Jesus name.
