Daily —even if it’s just mere whispers lying in my bed—I’ve made it a duty to pray for Blissfuls everywhere to be focused on no one and nothing but the Lord.

A few days ago, I shared with my wife what the Holy Spirit has been telling me: To take full advantage of every opportunity to encourage one another to follow hard after Him. I encouraged her to speak the word in season and out of season; and urged her to make the most use of every opportunity, either to stir believers to a more consecrated life, or the unsaved to receive Christ.

There must not be even the slightest tolerance for worldliness among those that claim to be believers. A disciple of Christ must consecrate Himself or herself to the Lord. It’s reasonable for people of this world to be worldly. It’s their nature anyway. But when a Blissful is worldly, it’s not his or her nature; instead, it’s a choice; and this is even more wicked.

1 Corinthians 5:9-11 NIV
[9] I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— [10] not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. [11] But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.

So, beloved Blissfuls, always fix your heart and mind on things above. Don’t look left or right. And don’t look back. Carnality is killing many of God’s backslidden children today. May it never infect you.

I pray the Holy Spirit helps you in every way to bring your life completely under His Lordship. I pray your zealousness and hard work will NOT be for the things of this world that is passing away. Rather, may your zealousness and hard work and passion be for the Lord Himself, and for His things.

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. All other things will be added to you.

I know this is not easy. The enemy of your soul continues to organize stumbling blocks along each step of your path. Yet, deep in your heart you love the Lord. And this is why I’m constantly praying for us.
