God gave you free will. Then He put you into a world with multiple options. That way you can exercise your free will and reveal the true inclination of your heart.
What you choose each and every moment of your life will determine the quality of your life: whether peaceful and prosperous, or traumatic and frustrating.
Making the right choice in life is not just about being smart or intelligent. In fact, some of the most intelligent people on this planet make some of the dumbest choices!
Anyway, the best way to ensure that you’re on the right track is through prayer; not just any kind of prayer—especially the kind that just asks for things; but prayer in which you’re humbly asking the Holy Spirit to help you yield completely to Him.
If you will sincerely and humbly ask the Holy Spirit each moment to help you yield completely to Him, you’ll be amazed at where you eventually end up.
Joshua 24:15 KJV
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord , choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord .
