Matthew 14:28-29 NLT | “Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus.”

Something made Peter ask Jesus to call him so he could walk on water despite the fiery waves he saw and the risk of drowning in the deep ocean.

It’s the same thing that made the woman with the issue of blood persevere against all odds, even entertaining the prospect of being trampled upon just to touch the hem of Jesus garment.

Matthew 9:21 NIV | “For she thought, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.””

Call it, the audacity of faith. It’s when you put everything on the line based on and fortified with the knowing deep in your heart that once Jesus touches or responds to you, your life will never be the same. It usually doesn’t make sense but it makes miracles.

Studying Peter a bit more, we see Jesus wanting to know what His disciples thought of Him.

Matthew 16:16-17 NLT | “Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being.”

Peter knew something from the Father which the other disciples didn’t know. You can reach this conclusion based on the exploits He did and position in God’s kingdom.

Daniel 11:32 KJV | “…But the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”

However, exploits here not only refers to walking on water or miracles of healing but living effortlessly by God’s grace and emerging victorious in life and destiny.

This knowing aka faith comes by hearing the word of God in a place of intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

Romans 10:17 KJV | “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Because, the moment you hear Him, new life is released. Chains are broken. Vitality is restored. Abundance becomes natural. Fruitfulness is your new norm. You start operating in divine wisdom. Uncommon solutions are made available to you. Your victory is sure. And, you simply go from glory to glory in every area of your life.

So today, I pray you hear the voice of God concerning every issue in your life. It will surely strengthen your heart and make all the difference you desire so much to see and set you on a glorious path.
