LUKE‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬ | “ONCE JESUS WAS IN A CERTAIN PLACE PRAYING. AS HE FINISHED, ONE OF HIS DISCIPLES CAME TO HIM AND SAID, “LORD, TEACH US TO PRAY, JUST AS JOHN TAUGHT HIS DISCIPLES.””

How can one pray from dusk till dawn almost everyday of one’s life like Jesus? I bet there’s no formula for this. Which is why Jesus disciple asked a very important question; teach us to pray. It can’t be taught. It must be caught in the spirit. It’s the spirit of prayer, not a formula.

Elijah said to Elisha when he asked for a double portion of his spirit, “You have asked a difficult thing. Yet, if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours—otherwise, it will not.” (2 Kings‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭NIV‬‬) Also, after Abraham was stopped from killing Isaac, he turned and saw the ram in the thicket and sacrificed it instead. The ram was seen and caught when God provided it supernaturally. (Genesis 22:14 NIV)
