May there be a convergence of all your faithful efforts.
Grace is not indulgent to laziness and idleness.
Receive the grace!
To ensure prophecy happens, you must work and continue working.
You must realize that ministry, family, business, career and other endeavors in the world fall into the category of extensions of your relationship with God and your service to God.The post Extensions Of Your Relationship With God appeared first on Wil…
In your destiny-partnership with God, you have to adopt the principle of personal responsibility so as to increase your effectiveness and multiply excellent outputs.
Jesus actually came and broke the Adamic curse. He freed us from that particular curse so that today, we don’t need to have our food come from our work.
To eat your food by the sweat of your brow is not a good thing; it’s a curse. As a matter of fact, it was not so in the very beginning.
God’s reason for working is simple: To express Himself.
To walk in harmony with Him, you need to discover why God works, what your work is, and then do your work the same way.
When I talk about your assignment in the house of God, I’m not necessarily talking about only what you do in terms of ushering people to their seats, singing in the choir, welcoming first-timers and the likes.
We have all kinds of food, and Jesus is saying that your work from the Father is some sort of food.
Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working.”
~ John 5:17
Work is from God; work is godly.
So, what is your work?
You are from the Father, you came from the Father; so everything about you has to come from the Father, including your work.
Jesus got his work from the Father as is written in the Bible.
“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.” ~ John 4:34
Jesus kept referring to where He came from: the Father. Then He made the following statement:
“I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.”
~ John 5:19
In other words, “My message, whatever I say to you, whatever I do, is what I see my Father do.”
Jesus came from the Father. He got his assignment from the Father; and He tells us, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent me and to finish his work.” That is, “My joy, fulfillment, strength, and sense of being come from working on the assignment that my Father gave to me.”
You are in this world on an assignment. You are sent from God, and you came from God. When God sent you into this world, He gave you an assignment; he gave you a work to do. Your work, therefore, is that assignment that your Father gave you to carry out on the earth.
People who don’t know what this assignment is, or who know but are slack in it are usually stagnant in life; no matter how talented or intelligent they are.
Unfortunately, a lot of people go through life, without knowing the assignment God gave them. They go through life with no clue as to the work the Father assigned to them.
What is your assignment in God’s creation and in God’s house? Are you always at it? Are you working?
And just like work is from God – the nature of the Father – laziness is the nature of the devil. Idleness is in the nature of the devil.
If you are God’s child, then, just like your Father, and Jesus Christ, find your work and get on with it.
God is always at His work. Jesus is always at His work. And If you are not always at your work, you are not being like the Father; you are not being like God.
If you want to enjoy paradise on earth, change your attitude to work, then roll up your sleeves and get on with it.
Take all that God has given you and move into the marketplace; there fight with all you’ve got.
