Strong Roots Bear Fruit; Orientation

This is number 2 of a 5 part series on ROOTS.

Today we are looking at the second letter in the word ROOTS—  ‘O’. The topic in today’s teaching will be ‘O’RIENTATION.

According to the dictionary, orientation is defined as a person’s basic attitude, beliefs, or feelings in relation to a particular subject or issue.

In this article I will discuss the orientation of your mind; the arrangement of your mind. How you process information and make decisions. The orientation of your mind has to change in order for you to have strong roots and bear fruit.

“As the heavens are higher than the earth,so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” ~Isaiah 55:9

The transformation in your orientation happens as you begin to access His thoughts and begin to duplicate His ways. If you start making higher quality choices then your life will become sweeter and you will bear fruit.

How do you do this? Well, it says in the Bible that no one knows the mind of God but the Spirit of God (1 Corinthians 2:11). So we must develop a strong relationship with the Holy Spirit.

As we do, He begins to deposit God’s thoughts into our mind and our thoughts become aligned with the Creator of the world. Then we begin to really experience the mind of Christ.

When Holy Spirit releases His anointing into your mind it breaks strongholds and destroys the patterns of the world that you have been conformed to. (Isaiah 10:27)

He then deposits God’s thoughts into your mind as He is renewing it. Old thought patterns begin to break! New ideas begin to flow! Your life begins to be transformed! In turn your spiritual roots are strengthened and you will flourish and bear fruit!

Ask the Holy Spirit to anoint your head with oil so that you may overflow with new ideas and bear fruit!
