Recently, I had a very transformational conversation with the Holy Spirit. He spoke to me about business, profit, wealth, talking, and a lot more that space would not allow me to share here.
But below is the core of what He said to me. Basically it’s about diligence, and being profitable to the glory of God; but it also includes insight on how to use your mouth for profit.
Do business
13"And he called ten of his slaves, and gave them ten minas and said to them, ‘Do business with this until I come back.’” ~ Luke 19:13
Your ideas are minas.
Your talents are minas.
What business are you doing with what you have?
A lot of people need what you have and are willing to pay for it. Therefore, go out and find them.
Most of us know what to do; we are just too lazy to do them. Profit comes to people who work their land.
Be diligent
Invest countless hours into learning the best ways to do what you can do. Then invest even more hours into applying what you’ve learnt. Get better and better at what you do.
Learn how to talk
Learn how to persuade people. Learn how to convince people. If you don’t, your business will never prosper.
“From the fruit of his lips a man is filled with good things as surely as the work of his hands rewards him.”
~ Proverbs 12:14
The fruit of his lips = the results of his persuasion. This includes sold products and services. It includes the support of others with their time, talents, and money.
If you don’t know how to persuade and convince others to help you, you will never have successful relationships, and you will never be rich, wealth, or great.
1.The magic of marketing is in the mouth
Wealth responds to persuasion.
Highly successfully people are those who are very persuasive.
To be persuasive, you must have a cheerful and pleasant personality. Even if you were not born naturally with these, develop them.
The magic of marketing is in the mouth. Those who don’t know how to talk sweetly, persuasively, and convincingly, will have their products and services stuck in their hands.
“Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.”
~ Colossians 4:6
Always means when you feel like it and when you don’t. It’s an art. It’s a profession.
Take the harshness out of your tone. Replace it with sweetness and melody.
Talking is an art. Learn to perform it.
2.Stop arguing
Many can argue successfully; which is why they fail woefully. They are called ‘argumentators’. They are the worst strugglers on the planet. They are usually very talented and intelligent, but they are too argumentative to succeed.
Being right is not as important as being successful. Showing what you know is not as important as getting what you want.
So, wise people normally allow themselves to lose the arguments of life so that they can win the resources, opportunities, and positions of life.
Check yourself. If you are too argumentative, it might be costing you millions.
