JOSHUA 2:16 NLT | ““ESCAPE TO THE HILL COUNTRY,” SHE TOLD THEM. “HIDE THERE FOR THREE DAYS FROM THE MEN SEARCHING FOR YOU. THEN, WHEN THEY HAVE RETURNED, YOU CAN GO ON YOUR WAY.””
It was possible to hide Moses and save his life because he was a small, tiny baby. (Exodus 2:2 NLT) Rahab hid the spies so they could escape being captured and killed. (Joshua 2:6 NLT) Even God hides Himself from man and only reveals Himself in bits to His Consecrated Ones, deserving of Him.
We must cease looking down on small, tiny and embrace the days of our obscurity and little beginnings because the substance of who we are is not built on the global stage. You are built up in secret, in the wilderness of life where no one sees you. For instance, King David was made in the wilderness; not the throne of Israel. Joseph was further built up in the prison; not in Pharaoh’s palace.
Receive this wisdom and grace to actively praise God for the small and hidden aspects of your life. Bliss be with you.
