Say A Prayer

2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV | “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

As the wrath of God unleashed on the earth, communities, some wealthy people, friends and family moved in the right direction to help others.

I wondered what I could do to help because though we celebrate our covering under the Holy Spirit from all that is happening, we need to go beyond ourselves and intercede greatly for all peoples.

We are privileged to know what we know and be shielded under the shadow of the Almighty God. However, that privilege is to serve and build treasures in the hearts of people.

God reminded us a few days ago as we sought His face in prayer that He has answered everything we’ve ever prayed for and is not about to stop that trend. So, I know that if all Blissfuls pray today, God will hear and answer us.

So, for the families who have lost a loved one and mourning. For those battling sickness and ill health. For the medics putting their lives on the line to help others. For the person who is so distraught and contemplating suicide. For the homeless person on the streets. For the person who has lost their job and is in lack. For the person unable to pay their rent and bills. For the person with no idea how to put food on the table…say a prayer.

Our strength is prayer and we can make a huge difference by praying relentlessly for God’s mercies over all peoples.

Acts 3:6 KJV | “…Peter said, silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.”

Let’s pray they rise up and walk. Let’s pray for God’s great mercies to prevail over His judgement. Let’s pray for comfort for those who mourn. Let’s pray for the restoration of man to God’s presence.

Jude 1:22 KJV | “And of some have compassion, making a difference…”
