GENESIS‬ ‭1:28‬ ‭NIV | “GOD BLESSED THEM AND SAID TO THEM, “BE FRUITFUL AND INCREASE IN NUMBER; FILL THE EARTH AND SUBDUE IT. RULE OVER THE FISH IN THE SEA AND THE BIRDS IN THE SKY AND OVER EVERY LIVING CREATURE THAT MOVES ON THE GROUND.””

In the beginning, God gave man this mandate.

RULE OVER!

Time has not changed it. It’s still very much the same.

Here are three keys to rule your day and dominate every circumstance in your life.

1) Awaken Before The Dawn Of Each Day

MARK‬ ‭1:35-38‬ ‭NLT‬‬ | “BEFORE DAYBREAK THE NEXT MORNING, JESUS GOT UP AND WENT OUT TO AN ISOLATED PLACE TO PRAY. LATER SIMON AND THE OTHERS WENT OUT TO FIND HIM. WHEN THEY FOUND HIM, THEY SAID, “EVERYONE IS LOOKING FOR YOU.” BUT JESUS REPLIED, “WE MUST GO ON TO OTHER TOWNS AS WELL, AND I WILL PREACH TO THEM, TOO. THAT IS WHY I CAME.””

Jesus lived an extraordinary life because He excelled in this grace. Waking up before dawn to fellowship with the Holy Spirit and pray is so important because you get to hear His voice and plan for the day. There is also the opportunity to shape your day, mould it, make it and declare what you want to see and experience in it. Jesus was about His Fathers business and the resultant outcome fuelled by a life following this principle was all men seeking Him. He could then easily minister and restore the lost sheep of Israel to His Father.

2) Praise Through Your Day

PSALMS‬ ‭34:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬ | “I WILL PRAISE THE LORD AT ALL TIMES. I WILL CONSTANTLY SPEAK HIS PRAISES.”

There is the temptation to pause your praise when you encounter daily challenges. But, don’t fall for it because that’s the enemies plan anyway.

Paul and Silas refused to complain when thrown into prison for doing good. Instead, they praised God until the Holy Spirit came and set them free.

This is the example we should follow. So, be divinely empowered today to live a life full of never ending praise to God in spite of whatever obstacles life may throw at you. This way you will surely overcome and rule your day.

3) Be Thankful

1 THESSALONIANS‬ ‭5:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬ | “IN EVERY THING GIVE THANKS: FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS CONCERNING YOU.”

A grateful heart infects you with joy unspeakable. So, at the end of each day, make notes of everything God has done for you. You will be surprised at how much God has done. Make an inventory of ONLY the good things God has done before going to bed. Don’t think about things that didn’t happen or plans for the next day because tomorrow will take care of itself.

Apply these principles in your life, with the help of our Precious Holy Spirit. Then, comeback with your stories. I’m sure it will be positive.
