The Right Place For Your Heart

Last night was quite a humbling experience for me. I had the opportunity to share my love for Jesus with Pastor Sharon Daugherty and the wonderful people of the Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Rev. Wildfire at Victory

I never felt like my work there was complicated at all. On the contrary, and thankfully, I thought it was a very simple one: To lift the hearts of God’s children there into the right place, and fix it there. It was truly a powerful experience for me, particularly as I felt tremendous liberty to just worship, cry, and abandon myself to the Lord in total surrender. It’s always a beautiful experience to be in a congregation that understands and flows in worship.

So, I ministered on the topic, ‘The Right Place For Your Heart.’ Essentially this: When your heart is in the right place, and for the right reason, the deepest desires of your heart will always come to pass.

I’d like you to ponder on that for a while.

When your heart is in the right place, and for the right reason, the deepest desires of your heart will always come to pass.

And the right place for our hearts is with the Lord; with Him; at His feet—that’s where we truly belong.
And the right reason to be there, is love.

You know, here’s a simple promise from Jesus Christ:

For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.
~ Matthew 18:20

Now, would you dare to accept and believe that; with simplicity and humility of heart; like a little child? And if truly, from the bottom of your heart and the depths of your soul, you believed that your Lord and your God is with you, what would you do?

In John’s case at the Island of Patmos,

“When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.”
~ Revelation 1:17,18

If, like John, you would recognize and acknowledge His presence with an open and humble heart, and bow at His feet in total surrender and worship, then like John experienced, He would bring you into a fresh awareness of who He is.

As you read this post, may my precious Lord, move in your heart. May He open your heart to behold His glory. And may He bring you into a fresh awareness of who He really is.

My relationship with the Lord, my personal faith and walk with Him is not a religion at all; it is a relationship. I’m in love with Jesus Christ; deeply in love with Him. Sometimes, I think that it is with Him that I truly experience what love really is. And I pray you experience that; that you fall in love afresh with Him.

You know, sometimes, and as I see it, most times we should come before the Lord, not to receive anything from Him, but to just break our alabaster boxes at His feet, pour our tears there, and wipe them with our hair— that is, express our love for Him without inhibitions.

And in this light, we must learn to protect our intimacy with the Lord; for at the heart of every challenge and storm that we face today, is an attempt from the enemy to break our focus on Jesus. That’s why all hell keeps breaking loose and you keep getting pulled and torn in many directions. It’s an old satanic stunt.

Make the work harder for the men so that they keep working and pay no attention to lies.
~ Exodus 5:9

Don’t let him play those games with you; never. Instead, use David’s template:

I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.
~ Psalm 16:8

Set the Lord ALWAYS before you. Shift your focus from yourself and your frustrations, to the Lord; and bask in the glorious light of His awesomeness.

And like Jesus…

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!
~ Mark 1:35-37

Prioritize and strengthen your intimacy with your Heavenly Father, His precious Son, and His ever abiding Holy Spirit; prioritize and strengthen your prayer life.

And now, may the hand of he Lord be upon you to strengthen your intimacy and walk with Him. May He breathe fresh fire, passion, and sweetness into your fellowship with Him; into your prayer life. May tomorrow’s morning meet you before dawn in His presence. May you always be found early in the morning in fellowship and intimacy with the Lord.

A new day of intimacy and favour has risen upon you

Have a blissful week!
