Abraham’s son, Isaac, was born according to the promise of God. He was the fruit of Abraham’s walk with God. Isaac came as a result of Abraham listening to God, trusting in the Lord, and waiting patiently for the promise. And this is exactly how God’s manifestations come in our lives.
Do not focus on the manifestations – you know, the signs and wonders. Instead, ensure that your relationship with God is solid and intact. Develop an ear that is attentive to the thoughts of God. Learn to trust in Him. Most importantly, learn to wait patiently for Him through the inevitable seasons of delay and testing.
This is actually what it means to walk in the ways of the Lord. Unless you have a personal and intimate relationship with God, you cannot walk in His ways. This is because, unlike the ways of the world, the ways of the Lord are not gotten from the books of this world. They are revealed by the Spirit of the Lord. To learn His ways, you need the wisdom of His Spirit. To walk in His ways, you the grace of His Spirit.
Unless you have a personal and intimate relationship with God, you cannot walk in His ways.
