The word of the Lord to you today is that you should spend time with God and let Him show you what really matters. You don’t have to be a part of the rat race. Cultivate intimacy with God and spend time in fellowship with Him. He will realign you back to Him and help you to focus on what is truly important.

I would like you to bow down your head in prayer right now and ask the Lord to help you to walk in His ways. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you the things that really matter. Ask Him to open your eyes to what is really important so that you don’t chase fantasies. May the Holy Spirit realign you back to God in Jesus’ name.

God has helped me so much in this area. He helps me each time to focus; He helps me each season to know where to put my attention. And the beauty of it all is that when you refocus, you accelerate. Every time you refocus, you achieve so much more and at a faster pace.

The devil wants you to become distracted with so many things so that you will fail. He knows you dissipate your energy and resources when you run in a thousand directions. But when you reject the descriptions and definitions of the world as regards success, and return to the Lord, you experience speed. In prayer, say to Him, “Lord I know your ways are higher than my ways; but I want to walk in them.” Then embrace Gods’ own mind, values, and definitions. Let the Holy Spirit show you what really matters, and as you begin to walk in that, you will attain true success.
