Exodus 3:21 NKJV | “And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed.”
Israel was in bondage and slavery in the land of Egypt for 430 years. They were subdued, maltreated, and oppressed by Egypt. But when their time of deliverance came, God used their enemy to bless them. He used the very people that had been against them to enrich them beyond measure. They plundered Egypt!
Exodus 3:22 NLT | “Every (Israelite) woman will ask for articles of silver and gold jewelry, and fine clothing from their Egyptian neighbors and their neighbors’ guests. With this clothing, you will dress your sons and daughters. In this way, you will plunder the Egyptians!”
Here God’s word for you today, Blissful. If God could use Egypt to favour Israel whom they held in bondage and captivity, then He can, and will use anybody and any situation to turn your life around. Just like He made Samson to find and eat honey from the lion that came to devour him, He will use that adverse situation in your life to bring you untold blessings.
God says to tell you that He will use every contrary ill wind blowing against you to change your fortunes. He will cause you to profit from this season – from the lockdown and the economic meltdown. Dimensions and realities that are not possible in your life will start to happen, because He’s surrounded you with His favour as a shield.
God said, “I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians.” The favour of God can be visible. It will be visible in your life! It was visibly seen on Israel, so much that their enemies could no longer oppress nor resist them. It is like oil. It has an aura. It brings ease. It makes one attractive and irresistible.
Songs of Songs 1:3 NKJV | “Because of the fragrance of your good ointments, Your name is ointment poured forth; Therefore the virgins love you.”
The favour of God removes resistance and opposition. It caused Esther to find favour in the sight of everyone, and was chosen as the queen. This is why we are encouraged to “never let our heads lack oil.” God wants to cause His favour on you to be visible such that every situation around you will see it and bow to you. Our relationship with the Holy Spirit is the key to His favour. From today, you will not run on stale oil. There’s a renewal. The Holy Spirit is strengthening your fellowship with Him, and anointing you with fresh oil. Receive!
Psalm 92:10 NKJV | “But my horn you have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.”
