Angel Gabriel said to Mary when he was sent to let her know she would birth the Messiah, “Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you!” (Luke‬ ‭1:28‬ ‭NLT) Favoured woman, right? She watched Jesus die and oh, what pain she must have felt in her very soul as the nails sealed His body to the Cross. Simeon’s prophecy in the text scripture came to pass.

But, His ways are not your ways. God’s thoughts are not your thoughts. God does not use the same dictionary as you. What things mean to you is not what they mean to Him. His concept of righteousness is different from yours. His concept of love is different from yours. His concept of perfection is different from yours. All His concepts are different from yours.

So, He is opening the eyes of your heart to acknowledge and receive His thoughts, ways, mind, so you can be favoured like Mary. Bliss be with you.
