Raising Godly Children For God

Raising godly children for God is such a joy and privilege. I am grateful to God for the blessing of having kids who follow after me in the path of God’s word and principles.

Recently, during one of our home church services, our kids ministered to us. They were a joy to behold as they expressed their different abilities while decked in colorful attires. My heart was filled with joy and gratitude to God as I watched them.

My wife, Sharon, is in charge of the children’s department of our home church. She’s entrusted with the enormous task of helping the kids discover themselves, their missions, express their unique God-given abilities, and also to establish them in the paradigm and principles of God. She is doing such a terrific work. And I know they will grow up to dazzle their world. They will do things that have not been heard off; their accomplishments will shock the world.

A lot of children who were raised in the church end up in worldly circles, and are completely irrelevant to God.  Many of them start right, but veer off God’s path as they become adults. But I pray that this will not be their story; they will not be a part of the statistics, in Jesus name.

I sincerely commit them into the hands of God. And I pray that God will preserve them through time and space as they grow, and as they move from one phase of life to another.

May God preserve His Spirit in them.

May He preserve them in His righteousness.

May He preserve them in His ways.

They will grow from strength to strength.

They will do far more than anything that I have ever done.

May they continue to be blessings to everyone around them.

Father keep them by your mighty power; in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Memory Verse:
Genesis 18:18-19

Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation and all nations on earth will be blessed through him. For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.

Prayer:
O Lord, help me to be established in your paths and raise children after me who will walk in your ways and principles in Jesus’ name. Amen
