Prophecy (1): What Do You See?

JEREMIAH‬ ‭1:11-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬ | “THEN THE LORD SAID TO ME, “LOOK, JEREMIAH! WHAT DO YOU SEE?” AND I REPLIED, “I SEE A BRANCH FROM AN ALMOND TREE.” AND THE LORD SAID, “THAT’S RIGHT, AND IT MEANS THAT I AM WATCHING, AND I WILL CERTAINLY CARRY OUT ALL MY PLANS.””‬‬

Never assign a literal interpretation to any vision you see or word you receive.

I met a woman who was so bitter towards the things of God and churches. She went on and on about how all the prophecies she had received had not come to pass. She literally referred to the vessels as being untrue and hearing wrongly. In the end, she stopped going to church and fellowshipping with the brethren entirely.

Who is to blame? God or the prophet. I don’t know but what I know is; never assign a literal interpretation to any revelation or prophecy because there is no literal connection between seeing an almond tree and the meaning in the text scripture that God will surely bring His Word to pass. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit for the interpretation just as much as you do the revelation. Bliss be with you.
