As Don Moen sings in his beautiful song, God is good all the time.

He is for you

God is not against you. He’s not out to get you. In fact, He is on your side; He is for you.

“What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?” ~ Romans 8:31

Now declare:

“God is for me. My God is on my side. He’s not out to destroy me. He’s out to bless me.”

“I am blessed.”

“I am favoured.”

“I am beloved.”

He is mind-full of you

It’s time to focus on, and begin to celebrate the goodness of our loving heavenly Father.

His mind is full of you.

³ When I consider your heavens, 
   the work of your fingers, 
the moon and the stars, 
   which you have set in place, 
⁴ what is man that you are mindful of him, 
   the son of man that you care for him? ~ Psalm 8

He’s thinking constantly about you; about how to make your life more glorious.

As a matter of fact, He rejoices over you with singing; so, God’s songs are about you!

The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.” ~ Zephaniah 3;17

• He is with you.
• He is mighty to save.
• He will take great delight in you.
• He will quiet you with His love.
• He will rejoice over you with singing.

This basically means that you are the centre of God’s universe!

You are all He’s thinking of in time and eternity.

What else do you need?

He cares about you too

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” ~ 1 Peter 5:7

HE CARES for you.

He truly does; and He daily bears your burdens, which is the reason you haven’t yet lost your mind!

“Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.” ~ Psalm 68:19 NIV

The verse above reads differently, but equally powerfully in the KJV version:

“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.” ~ Psalm 68:19 KJV

So, He also loads us with benefits – daily. What a good God!

He says that we should call upon Him in the day of trouble, and regardless of what we might have done, He’ll answer and come to our rescue.

¹⁵ and call upon me in the day of trouble; 
   I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” ~ Psalm 50

What more could we possibly ask for?

Truly, our God is a Good God!
