Your desire for the Holy Spirit is intense. Your heart cries out to know Him more. You want to know Him intimately. You want to hear His voice each and every moment; comforting you; guiding you.

But you live in this very carnally minded world, full of distractions: pressures from worldly friends and family; pressures from the necessities of daily living; pressures from the pains and struggles of life’s challenges.

You wonder if you could ever have peace. Would you ever have the kind of intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit that you crave?

The answer is yes. Yes you can. And yes you will. Because, He is with you. Always with you.

So be relentless in reminding yourself that He’s with you; whether you feel it or not. Accept this as infallible truth.

Continue to ask Him to help you feel His presence and hear His voice. Never stop asking Him to keep you focused on Him; following hard after Him.

Hebrews 11:6 KJV
But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

You believe in Him. You love Him. By His Grace, you will continue to diligently seek Him. And one of these days, you’ll see Him face to face, and hear His voice as clearly as I can hear these birds singing just outside my windows.
