ISAIAH‬ ‭43:12 NLT‬‬ | “…FIRST I PREDICTED YOUR RESCUE, THEN I SAVED YOU AND PROCLAIMED IT TO THE WORLD. NO FOREIGN GOD HAS EVER DONE THIS. YOU ARE WITNESSES THAT I AM THE ONLY GOD,” SAYS THE LORD.”

King Jehoshaphat of Judah was faced with the mighty army of Edom coming against him. He inquired of the Lord in desperation and this was the Lord’s response. ‘You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem…’ (2 Chronicles‬ ‭20:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Summary is God set ambushes against the Edomites and they destroyed each other. Judah came to the battle field and met only dead bodies and plunder to cart away. It took them three days to take the spoil of a war they did not fight. And, afterwards King Jehoshaphat and Judah had peace.
