One of the weaknesses of the human nature is a tendency to give up prematurely. A lot of folks have a penchant of quitting too soon. They throw in the towel at the merest hint of opposition. There are arduous periods of waiting on your journey of destiny. And you will need tenacity to take you through these tough seasons. You may be required to do the same things again and again before you can see the desired results.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
~Galatians 6:9
Apostle Paul understood this – having faced his own fair share of challenges. And in writing to the church in Galatia, he encouraged them not to be weary in well doing. In the same manner, this is God’s word to you at this season and for all times: Do not be weary in well doing. Do not be tired of handling that project. You may have to repeat that action over and over again. Do not be fed up with that assignment. Do not give up on that child. For at the proper time, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up.
A lot of the times, most Christians stop rather too prematurely. They get tired out easily, and are quick to abandon their God-given projects. If this describes you, I would like to pray with you at this juncture:
Heavenly Father, I understand that it is in our nature as human beings to give up, to quit, to be distracted, and to be hasty. I pray for all who come in contact with this teaching, that by Your Spirit, You will strengthen them with Your power in their inner man to wait, to focus, to do it again, and again until the proper time in Jesus name.
Amen.
