God hears you when you call. He’s not deaf, He hears prayers. But He does more than that: He answers prayers!

Psalms 65:2 | “O you who hear prayer, to you all men will come.”

Jeremiah 33:3 | “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

Today’s scriptures are two of the most encouraging bible verses that I know of because they encourage me to pray.

God hears prayers. And He answers prayers. It doesn’t always seem like He does, but He does.

I’m quite sure you have prayed many prayers that have not yet been answered. And you’re probably scratching your head right now and wondering, “If God hears and answers prayers, why hasn’t He answered this one I’ve been praying for so long now?”

Frankly, I don’t know why that prayer hasn’t been answered yet. But I know that God will answer it soon.

Keep this powerful word of encouragement in mind as you go about the business of today.
