Maximise The Grace Of God (2): Co-labour With God!

1 Corinthians 3:9 KJV | “For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.”

I recently read the story of the crippled man at the beautiful gate in Acts chapter three. I took note of verse three. “Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong.” You cannot help an unwilling man.

The man’s feet and ankle bones received strength. Grace came on him. Power surged to his crippled feet, not while he was sitting down, but at the instance of his willingness and submission to help; at the instance of his participatory role in rising up.

We are co-labourers with God. Grace is not indulgent to idleness, nor laziness. It is dependence on the power of God, which is activated by our yieldedness and striving. Receive the grace to do your part in partnering and co-labouring with God, to realise your miracles!
