This is the fifth and final article on the HEART. Today is the fifth letter— T. I will define it as TRUST. 

PROVERBS 3:5,6|  “TRUST in the Lord with ALL your HEART, lean not own your own understanding acknowledge Him in all your way and He will direct your path.”

Three things I want to point out: 

1.) TRUST IN HIM. “Some TRUST in chariots and some in horses, but we TRUST in the name of the LORD our God.” ~Psalm 20:7

2.) LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. Your mind is very limited. You must learn how to look to the Spirit for Him to give you His understanding.

3.) ACKNOWLEDGE HIM. Develop a deep intimate relationship with Holy Spirit. Communicate with Him about every detail of your life.

In Matthew 13 Jesus exposes the “DECEITFULNESS OF RICHES AND THE WORRIES OF THE WORLD” that choke out the Word in your HEART rendering it unfruitful. 

Ask yourself, “What am I trusting in?”

Are you trusting in yourself, in the riches of the world, people, or material possessions? 

These things will fail you, leave you empty and lost. As you trust in Lord He will direct your path and you will bear much fruit. 

Today ask the Holy Spirit to help you to trust the Lord with all you heart. In this way your heart will be good soil and you will overflow with abundant fruit and walk in His path for your life.
