JOSHUA‬ ‭24:15‬ ‭NLT | “…THEN CHOOSE TODAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE…””

Let’s look at some varying patterns.

Pattern of the world: Sweat it out so you can make it and prosper.
God’s pattern: Come to me all you that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

Pattern of the world: Think and grow rich.
God’s pattern: Don’t worry about tomorrow because I clothe the lilies of the valley. I will do more for you.

Pattern of the world: Put yourself first.
God’s pattern: Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Everything else will be added to you.

Pattern of the world: Aggressively buy lands and build many houses.
God’s pattern: Lay up treasures for yourself in heavenly places where neither moth nor rust can corrupt.

Pattern of the world: Acquire and amass wealth in worldly systems.
God’s pattern: What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his soul?

The patterns of the world can be summarised in three words: Stress! Worry! Sorrows!

God’s patterns can also be summarised in three words: Bliss! Ease! Everlasting joy!

We have a clear choice before us today; the patterns of the world or God’s patterns for our lives. Which will it be?
