Daniel 10:1 KJV | “In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long…”
Have you wondered why plants have different gestation periods? Corn for instance, takes three months to mature; orange takes three to five years; while the oak takes twenty to thirty years to produce its first acorn. The shorter the gestation period, the shorter the life span. The longer the gestation period, the longer the life span.
God is not a man that He’d lie. His revelation to Daniel was true, but the time appointed was long. Are there revelations of God to you that seem elusive? What do you do at such times of delay?
Be encouraged blissful. God’s work in your life is of immense worth. He wants you to trust Him, wait, and make peace with the seeming delays. The longer the wait, the higher and more lasting the value. So, disregard the deadlines. May you not make haste. May you not miss the way.
