Let us pray.

First of all, thank God in your life for giving you the gift of righteousness. Thank God that you are His righteousness.

Just thank him for what Jesus did for you on the cross. Go ahead and thank Him. Father we thank you.

Ask him right now to fill your heart with love for righteousness. Possess me with love for righteousness O Lord. Go on as ask him for that.

“You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”
Hebrews 1: 9

So that like Jesus in Hebrews chapter one verse nine, it would be said of you that you love righteousness.

Lord, at the same time, fill my heart with hatred for sin or wickedness –  pray that prayer right now.

Lord fill me with the hunger and thirst to be righteous. I want to be righteous in my thoughts; I want to live a righteous life; I want to live out your righteousness in this world, in time and space; I want to manifest it every day of my life. Help me Lord. Strengthen my resolve, Lord, to be righteous. Purify me so that my resolve to be righteous gets stronger every day.

Finally ask God to strengthen you each day. Strengthen me today, and for the rest of my life to say no to sin; and to live a righteous life. I acknowledge that it’s not by might or power, but by Your Spirit that is at work in me. Strengthen me with power through your Spirit in my inner man to be righteous everyday of my life.

Thank you Lord.
